Welcome to the Kowhai Festival

The Kowhai Festival takes place every October in and around Warkworth and the beautiful Mahurangi Coast.

It is an annual celebration of all the things that make the northern Rodney area such a great place to live, work and play - gorgeous scenery, delicious food and wine, talented artists and musicians, diverse culture, fantastic recreational opportunities and, above all, a welcoming and supportive community spirit.

This year's event

From October 2 to 17 2010, the Kowhai Festival will offer a fun-packed programme of recreational and cultural outings throughout northern Rodney, including a raft race, garden rambles and the Huge Day Out.
